Angry white women

So yesterday seemed to be angry white women go around the internet and insult black women for no apparent reason day.  Or it may have just been the same white woman making the rounds of all the predominantly black websites.  I don’t particularly care.  I’m going to state the facts and why the fugg I was and am still pissed.

I was on OHN getting my laugh on when this white chick shows up out of nowhere with a backhand slap to black women on a post that had ZERO to do with insulting black women.  It was all a parody about black men.  I sat back and waited for someone to get her, like they jumped on the chick who stepped out and said black men ain’t shyt.  After several minutes when no one said a damn thing to defend our honor, I hopped over to fb and asked the ladies did they know this chick and when was someone going to get her azz.

Then me and the ladies headed back over to OHN and proceeded to put her azz in her place.  She did get called a bytch by one person one fugging time.  One, and only ONE, of the fellas tried to shut her azz down and out before she got too far but she kept typing so, as usual, we black women had to stand up for ourselves.  Only one man spoke up for black women’s honor and he only did so ONCE.

So yesterday evening the moderators called themselves addressing it by dressing down those who shut the chick up.  Because know she got shut the fugg up and no one threatened her life or told her to die or drink bleach.  She got a good old fashion dress down.  For which we got dressed down and I’ve been pissed and raw about it ever since.

So two years ago it was ok for the whole OHN community black, white, Hispanic, Asian, etc to come out on the chick who said black men ain’t ish and tell her all the ish I’ve mentioned before and above but it wasn’t ok for us black women, when it seemed only one of the men would speak up for us, to defend ourselves?  Bullsh$#!

So it was ok about 18 months ago for one of OHN’s stans to get into an altercation with an albino woman and quite a few OHNawlians to go in on her when she jumped in said stan’s azz?  That Twitter battle was epic.  That woman was so smart and awesome I started following her. LOL  She was having an argument with some of OHN’s best and holding her own.  In that instance they were wrong.  The OHN stan made an inappropriate comment about albinos and she let them know she took offense.  The stan instead of just dropping it started cussing her out.  And she dressed everyone of them down until she shut them down.
So that was ok?  Bullsh$#!

Now, on BA another white chick or maybe the same one, strolls over and turns a post that had not a thing to do with race into a race argument.  The post wasn’t one I was interested in so I missed most of the fireworks until I checked it at the end of my lunch and there were 113 comments.  I was like, let me go see what is going on.  This post shouldn’t have had more than 20-30 comments and it blew up.  After reading about 3 pages I saw what happened and that said white chick got her azz served on toast points as she should have.

Today, one of the ladies who participated in the down dressing posted an apology to Boss.  Boss was like for what?  That was mild compared to how bad we have been in the past.  Personally, I believe the chick had it coming.  It may even be her kink.  Masochists come in many different levels, from verbal to physical abuse.

I’m just at this point now where I see, black women always have to stand on our own and handle our own because black men will not do it for us.

OHN’s regluator said that we showed her just what she wanted to see.  My thought was: What?  That black men don’t value their black queens enough to shut anyone down who disrespects them?  Because that’s all I saw.

OHN’s regulator said next time just email one of them.  But see, they call themselves a community and that ain’t a community.  That’s grade school.  Ooooooh Miz Moderator, she said black girls ain’t shyt.  Then Miz Moderator smacks the tattletale for saying "shyt".

Nah, I’m 44 years old.  I ain’t perfect nor am I saying I’m right.  I’m just saying, nah.  That ain’t for me.

See, if you walk into my physical community and attack me verbally I am going to give as good as I get.  Period.  WTF do you look like calling the police because someone said you ain’t shyt?  The 911 operator will ask if the person threatened you with physical violence and when you say no then they’ll tell you there is nothing they can do.

Well there is something I can do.  I can tell you just what I think of your notions about black women.

A white woman can have THREE different semen stains in her panties.  Only one of the stains belongs to her boyfriend but it was the black pro-athlete that raped her.

A little black teenage girl can be found raped, beaten, covered in human excrement and cuts but she wasn’t raped?  I can say a lot of negative things about Rev Al Sharpton but to this day I got to respect him for standing by her then.  I recently saw an interview, he still stands by that young girl even though white people still want to say she wasn’t raped.  He’s the only black man so far who will do so publicly.

And black men wonder why they can’t get the fugg ahead.  You NEVER let anyone disrespect your queen just like I would never let anyone disrespect my king.  Until they learn that cardinal rule they more than likely won’t get the fugg anywhere either.

I noticed even the white guys kept their mouths shut during that confrontation.  They can say they weren’t there all they want to but I won’t believe it.

They keep trying to push us to the bottom and telling us to shut up but I won’t be quiet.

Cool, that is his site and his rules.  I got to respect that.  So maybe it is best I just keep my comments to myself and stay the hell off the site.  Because you know what?  If she or anyone else black, white, green, indigo or what the fugg ever said that ish today, tomorrow, or 100 years from now and I’m still alive reading on OHN or any other website I will still do and say the same damn things.

This song says it all.  If I live long enough to see black men pull their collective heads out of their crotches and do an about face and treat each and every black woman with the respect that a man shows his queen and some young un asks me why were black women so angry when I was young I’ll have a post to remind me.

The Auto Auction

So let me start this at the beginning. So our present governor, Martin O’Malley, is a complete azz. He has raised the taxes on everything and cut back on everything all so that he can say he left Maryland with a billion dollar surplus when he runs for president. I can taste his presidential run. Do not vote for this man, America.

Anyway, MTA in Baltimore does not go your fukking way. Tuesday, I had the worse ride home. I had so many different people’s pelvises pressed up against me I swear I needed a cop, a CSI, a bath and counseling by the time I got off the bus.

So, Wednesday I had taken the day off to do some errands. Nothing like doing errands on a week day when most kids are in school and most adults are at work. I remembered that Baltimore’s impound lot has their auction every 2 weeks on a Wednesday. Lucky me, or so I thought, they were having one on my day off.

I figured if nothing else, I’d spend a few hundred dollars on a car that would get me from point A to point B and spare me the little piece of Hell that is Maryland MTA presently.

My last car was bought at the Bel Air auto auction and it ran great until I sold it. It needed more work than I wanted to put into it after a few years. I sold it to someone who worked on hoopties and everyone was happy. Gas prices were/are on a rollercoaster ride. I figured I’d wait it out. I didn’t know O’Malley would lose his damned mind and shut down mental homes and just release them into the streets of Baltimore with the rest of the moderate crazies. Can’t tell who is who anymore.

Bay…be. The stories I could sit here and type if carpal tunnel were not a factor.

Anyway, I woke up to a warm rain and thought maybe that would work in my favor. That perhaps the crowd wouldn’t be too thick. I’d never been there before. If nothing else, I appreciate the experience. I hope I never have to go back.

It was one of the most desolate places I’ve ever visited. I’ve been in cheerier cemetaries. While in the Caymans I took a tour to a little spot called Hell. I don’t have any pictures because it disturbed my soul. This place could have been Hell’s parking lot.

It was raining so everything was muddy. There was no grass. Not even WEEDS!!!! You know weeds grow any and every damn where. But nothing grew there. The mud was cracked like in a desert. I didn’t want to step in it for fear that I’d track something toxic back out of the gates and into the world.

Sound dramatic? Well, that’s how I saw it. Can’t help that.

There were rows and rows of cars in different states of death and decay. Some didn’t look too bad, like maybe their owners just didn’t have the money to pay their fines and get them back. While others looked like they had been there since they were new. There were actual burnt out cars, which stressed my soul because I wondered were there people in them when they caught fire. Several accident wrecks that made me wonder about the condition of the people who last rode in them. Then there were a couple vehicles with some suspicious dried blood colored splotches in them.

You’d have thought that would have been enough to send my azz right back out the gates and back to civilization, right? Well, there is nothing civilized about Baltimore’s transit system anymore so I stayed.

At the Bel Air Auto Auction, you are allowed to come and inspect the cars the day before auction and 2 hours prior to auction. Then you go and sit or stand in a large open air building and they drive each vehicle into the building and you bid there. In a covered building. Protected from the elements.

At the Baltimore Impound Lot…they put one of those bull horns atop a small city pickup truck. You know, one of those small trucks that is about the size of a VW Beetle. I can’t tell a Lexus from a Lincoln so I never know the name of any vehicle that I’m not responsible for.

In front of the pickup with the bull horn is another vehicle with a driver and a guy with a clipboard. The guy with the clipboard is key here. He calls out the numbers of the cars to be auctioned off. He yells off the numbers to the auctioneer. The auctioneer is the poor sucker who gets to walk the impound lot with us bargain hunters looking for a deal.

For nearly two fricking hours I walked out there in the rain, in the cracked mud, among abandoned vehicles. There were a couple trucks that made me sick in my heart. They were definitely workman’s trucks. Someone who was a skilled laborer. Their tools were still in the bed of the trucks. They sell as is at the Baltimore Impound lot. So how ever they got them, that’s how you get them.

We passed one car with a condom sitting up on the dashboard. I hope dude had a back up. People’s lives were still in these cars. Telling stories. *hunches shoulders* It was too creepy. I didn’t buy anything.

Not that I didn’t bid. Old cracked faced, tanning booth, biddy kept out bidding me! Heffa! After a while I got pissed and bid on one she was about to get dirt cheap. Like for $200. I had zero interest in this vehicle with four flattened tires. I was just pissed that she had outbid me on every vehicle I had been interested in. I refused to let her get this one dirt cheap. My dumb azz bid $450 on this vehicle that would surely need to be towed, repaired, excised, blessed, and a miracle performed on it to even get it to turn over. I am sure she just wanted it for parts. There were a few people there buying up junk cars.

Anyway, after my bid, I just knew she was going to nod $500. Heffa turned and walked away. I almost yelled: Bytch get your old azz back here and buy this damn car! *chuckling* That learned my azz. For a minute there I almost had it. My heart sank at having to fork over $450 on a vehicle I knew didn’t work. Then her partner called to her and she looked back at it and nodded to him. Then he bought it. *relieved sigh*

But through it all, I had to stifle the urge to shudder at the scene before me. At one point it was raining so hard and there were so many people that I didn’t put up my umbrella because it just would have been hitting people in the head. A thought ran through my mind real fast: I hate buying junk.

There it was. I hate spending my hard, hard, hard, HARD earned money on junk. I stayed the whole auction, even through the scooter auction but I didn’t buy a thing.

And I didn’t feel bad getting my azz back on the bus to go home either.

I’ve decided I’m going to try my best to be a very good person in this life. I am hoping to make it to Heaven. I am hoping that God will ask me is there anything special I want if/when I get to Heaven. And I’ll reply, Yes, Lord. Let me chose O’Malley’s purgatory. I don’t think it is too bad. He gets to ride a bus for a millennium or two. Just getting on sardine packed tight buses and getting off to wait in the heat, rain, cold, snow, hail, etc for a couple thousand years. Having total strangers pressing their private parts against his body. See how he likes having a guy’s pissy smelling crouch beside his face while he’s sitting down on an overcrowded bus on a summer’s day with no AC or *excited yell* OR on a cold winter’s day with the heat so high it feels like it is 100 degrees Fahrenheit and you’re melting inside your winter coat. See how he likes having crazy people talk to him about whether or not they will die poor and he hasn’t even made eye contact with these loons.

Oh yes…yes yes yes yes yes! I’m betting they’ll be others in Heaven that will have even better ideas and we’ll have a millennium or two to make sure he feels our pain. I’ll be sure to show him just as much mercy and consideration as he’s shown the working class citizens of Maryland.

*sighs* I bet I have some good dreams tonight. ‘Night…

Doctor shot at Bmore area hospital

So yesterday the local media and law enforcement were all busy with a gunman over at JHH. I use to work over there and still have friends who work there so of course I was concerned.  I immediately sent out emails and texts checking on everyone.

BUT...

When I first heard that a JHH doctor had been shot in the Nelson building I immediately thought of this bastid that I once had the misfortune to work with. My thought: Somebody finally got sick of your shyt and shot your evil azz.

*titter*

I know. That wasn't a nice thought at all.  Then he isn't a very nice person. Only people like him bring out thoughts like that in me.  Then when I heard that the doctor's specialty was ortho I realized it wasn't the same bastid at all.

See this is what had happened...

Back when I was young and full of piss and vinegar as well as living at home so I could afford to piss off superiors, I worked as a patient registrar in one of the outpatient clinics.

One fine day I was in the middle of checking a patient out.  The patient had just handed me their copay, cash mind you, when said Dr. Bastid walked up to my cubicle with a group of residents on his heels.  He totally ignored the patient at my desk and dropped a chart on my desk and said: Copy this!

I had the cash in my hand and just looked up at him like he had lost his mind.  He stood silently glaring down at me.  Before I could say anything the coworker beside me said that she would finish checking my patient out.

I thanked her.  I apologized to the patient and handed the patient their cash back. The patient threw him an evil look or two but they got up and went to the next desk.

Without a word, I picked up the chart, walked into the records room where the copiers were and proceeded to have a lovely 15 minute chat with the records girl. *snicker*

So at the 15 minute mark one of the other women working in patient check out came running in asking where are Dr. Bastid's copies.  I said, I'll make them...when I get ready.

She gets all nervous.  She starts telling me that I can't do that to him. Blah blah blah blah.  I stood patiently while she explained.  When she was done I asked her a few questions.

1) Did he get promoted to dept chair?  Her answer: No.
2) Is he now second in command after the dept chair? Her answer: No.
3) In the event that the chair and his second in command are away is he next in command? Her answer: No.
4) Is he connected in some way? Her answer: No.

Our dept chair makes his own copies (this man has a physical disability) when in the clinic. He is/was a very nice doctor. The second in comman makes his own copies, another nice doctor, when in clinic.  What makes Dr. Bastid so special?  Her answer: Silence.

I'll make the copies when I'm ready.  She goes back out to patient check out.  The records girl is now nervous and won't talk anymore so I turn to the task of making his 1 copy.

I put the copy in the chart.  Walk out to patient checkout where he is still standing now red in the face with his residents.  I drop the chart on the desk the way he did to me.  I picked up a new patient chart and called the patient's name so that I could check them out.  He snatches up the chart and walks away in a huff without another word.

*chuckle*

He never did that mess to me again or had me do anything else for him either.  He did, however, continue to treat the rest of the staff like shyt.  Every time we would pass each other in the halls we would roll our eyes at each other. *smh*

All he had to do was ask nicely and I would have done it. Lincoln, whether he wanted to or not, freed the slaves.  Dr. Bastid should have paid better attention in history class.

Anyways, the doc will recover and the gunman killed himself and his mother. Apparently, he was angry that the surgery his 84 year old mother had just had was not successful and she would not walk again. *smh*  She was 84.  She got to walk! There are people in this world who have never walked at all! *smh* I don't get it. I guess I never will.  I hope not.  I never want to feel that intitled to anything in this life.

Kinda like Dr. Bastid. He thought he was intitled to treat people like shyt.

A couple white people in residence does not change your block’s ghetto status.

*chuckle*

So, I was supposed to hook up with my new online friends Hello Kitty Slut and Tickle Da Pickle last Saturday at this spot that’s on North Avenue.

Hoe-kay!

North Avenue is the ghetto from one end to the other. There are no breaks in the ghetto lines. It is the ghetto all day long, 365 days/year, 366 in leap year. But I listened to them both tell me that the revitalization had reached that area of North Avenue. *shrug* It’s worth a look see.

Tickle Da Pickle was hosting a Hip Hop/Reggae show down at this restaurant on North Avenue. This place actually has a website! Menu was very tempting. Nice pictures on the site. Got me to thinking that maybe it really wasn’t on North Avenue at all. That was just its address.

Let me explain, see, in Baltimore they will have the front door on one street and the loading dock, which is attached to the building, will sit on another street. Instead of using the front door address the business will have its official address as that of the loading dock. I have actually worked in buildings like that and been to establishments like that. I have no idea the reason for it. It’s Bmore. It just is. *chuckle*

In that general vicinity are the Maryland Institute of Art, Maryland Institute of Culinary Arts, University of Baltimore, and quite a few really nice reputable boutiques and eateries. None on North Avenue though.

So I had never been to this place and was thinking that perhaps it was one of those oddities that I mentioned above. I don’t have a car right now cuz I sold it when the oil companies lost their fukking minds. So a cabbing I go.

I get out and I’m like…uh…uh…this is the ghetto! This place sits right on North Avenue. If they had told me it was across the street from the rent by the hour motel I wouldn’t even have said I was coming. *chuckle* Then I could have saved the hard feelings. *chuckle* I don’t even really understand the hard feelings really. I left Tickle Da Pickle a belated birthday gift, a bottle of Cabo Wabo.

I didn’t feel comfortable in the area no matter what the two of them said. However, now that I’ve been there and seen the food I wouldn’t mind going there for lunch one day…long before sunset. *chuckle* And I’m going to need to be sitting in the back away from the front window…drive bys you know. *giggle* No I ain’t shyt but I believe in going where I am comfortable.

This actually sparked a bit of a debate between me, Hello Kitty Slut, Missreall and Honey Girl Charly. Those three (who don’t live here) are going to tell me, Baltimore born and raised, that North Avenue isn’t the ghetto. *LMAO* HGC actually said it was a neutral zone *LMMFAO* No such a thing in the ghetto. *reduced giggles* But it was a nice try. TDP ain’t talking to me at all.

*sigh* Shrug. It is what it is.

My worry was that I wouldn’t be able to get a cab in that area after the show. Show started at 10pm which meant we wouldn’t be out of there until 1-2 am. I had very little hope that a cab would come down there at that time of night. If I had remembered that as an establishment that serves alcohol a cab has to come when the bar calls I MIGHT have been swayed to stay. But, bay…bee…all I could see was the ghetto and my azz getting shot up if them ninjas didn’t go home after the show was over and got to fighting after the show.

At one point I was in tears laughing cuz HKS & TDP kept reiterating that there were white people down there. Like WTH does that have to do with the price of a bullet?

So, I sent out a text to my Bmore folk to get their opinion on it. My text was this:

Is North Avenue ghetto? I got people telling me that becuz some white people moved into ONE BLOCK that it ain’t ghetto. I’ll let you decide.

The answer is yes. No surprise there but my favorite answer was from TPL:

“Hell yes very ghetto probably dirty white people” LMMFAO!!!!!!

When he says dirty white people I am assuming he meant trailer park white people. The type who strung up a black doll baby a few years ago and set it on fire. I don’t call people trash cuz people are not trash…no matter what they do. I will call you a filthy animal if you act the part though. I’ve also never heard TPL call a person trash so that is my take on his comment.

Truthfully, looking over the crowd it was a nice group of middle aged Caucasian middle to upper middle class folk. But I doubted they would be attending the Hip Hop/Reggae show LOL

So I told HKS that I would treat her to lunch this Saturday…and you guessed it she chose to go back to the same spot. LMAO!

One lunch ain’t gonna change my mind but I imagine she won’t be satisfied until I try it. *smh* So if you don’t hear from me after this blame that damn Hello Kitty Slut! I probably got shot up in a drive by in their so called “neutral zone”.

*tips Stewart’s cream soda bottle at monitor*
